Windolyn (Wendy) Waldrop

Windolyn (Wendy) Waldrop, 89 years old, beloved wife and mother, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 17, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on October 24, 1932. Born to Lennie and Victor Knight, in Philadelphia, Mississippi. She was a Charter Member of Brownfields Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Waldrop; father, Victor L. Knight; mother, Lennie Knight; and daughter, Melinda Ellen Biggers.

She is survived by her son, Michael Waldrop; daughter-in-law, Peggy Hollingsworth Waldrop; grandchildren, Michelle L. Smith, Melissa R. Primes, John Q. Kissner III, Paul E. Kissner, and Monica L. Lundeen; 9 great-grandchildren; and sister, Jean LaFaye Croswell.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Waldrop, Paul Kissner, Kyle Comeaux, Victor Smith, James Smith, and David Lundeen.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Friday, March 25, 2022, from 10:30 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
