Willie Andrew W.A. Robert, Sr.

A resident of Slaughter, Willie passed away on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Grace Health and Rehab. He was 92, a native of St. Landry, LA, and retired from Ethyl Corporation.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Saturday, November 1, from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 1:00pm. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.

Willie is survived by two daughters, June Robert Doran, and Jennifer Lynn Robert Jenkins and husband, Michael a son, Willie Andrew Robert, Jr. and wife Barbara a sister, Gloria Mae Aunt Pancake Robert Bundick four grandchildren, Jill Noel Doran Taylor and husband Thomas, Christi Lynn Jenkins Fisher and husband Joey, Rebecca Leann Jenkins Jarred and husband Jason, and Michael Lee Jenkins, II and wife Melissa eight greatgrandchildren, Aaron and Lauren Taylor, Christin Stehr, Catie and Jake Fisher, Jameson and Chandler Jarred, and Kennedy Jenkins and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Mae Fontenot Robert four sisters, Velva Short, Anna Foreman, Idell Tarver, and Virby Whitfield and his parents, Lee and Kelly Robert.

Willie was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and loved hunting, fishing, and gardening.

The family would like to give special thanks to the sitters with C and H Direct Service Workers, and the entire staff of Grace Health and Rehab for exceptional care given.
