William Paul Temple, Jr, 68, a native of Laurel, Ms and a resident of Baker, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was an employee of the City of Baker and retired after 21 years of dedicated service. He was a devoted member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, an honorary member of the Catholic Daughters, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4085.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Karen Le Clercq Temple; son, KJ; three grandsons, Blaine, Kaleb, and Preston; four sisters, Cora Peterson, Mary Roberts, Elaine Valadez, and Darlene King; and two brothers, Robert Temple and Tommy Temple.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah Robinson and William Paul Temple, Sr.; sister, Christine Blue; brother, Bobby Temple; and beloved niece, Amanda Temple LeJeune.
Family request visitation hours be observed on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with Recitation of the Rosary being led at 7:00pm at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 9:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Rd, Baton Rouge. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
