Whitney Thibodeaux

Whitney Joseph Thibodeaux, 102 years old, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 1, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on May 30, 1922, born to Adulus and Blanche Thibodeaux, in Eunice, LA. After graduating from High School, Whitney faithfully served his country in the U. S. Naval Service.

Whitney is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Elsie Dale Thibodeaux; son, Raylan Thibodeaux; daughter, Valerie Thibodeaux; son, Jude Thibodeaux; 3 grandchildren, Julie Thibodeaux, Chad Byrd, Chanel Berg; 2 great-grandchildren, Olive Berg and Fern Berg; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Whitney is preceded in death by his father, Adulus Joseph Thibodeaux; mother, Blanche Mary Richard Thibodeaux; son, Barry Joseph Thibodeaux; grandchildren, David Thibodeaux and Brian Thibodeaux; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM officiated by Deacon Shelley Joseph. The graveside service and burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1400 E. Laurel Ave, in Eunice, LA.
