Grand-mother, Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, and Friend….
Vivian Netherland Fresina is now rejoicing at the feet of Jesus, free from the cancer that took her from us, and free from the yoke of her life here on earth. She was born in Monroe, La. On August 1, 1957, and received her wings to heaven, surrounded by her family and friends at her home in Jackson, La. on March 23, 2018 at the age of 60. Vivian was a retired pricing manager for Winn-Dixie.
Vivian is survived by her two sons, Tony Fresina and wife Brittney, Chris Fresina and wife Morgan; her four beautiful granddaughters who were so precious to her, Ailynn, Kailah, Sutton, and Stella; her mother, Mary Lofton Posey; three sisters, Hilda Heard, Donna McQueary and Candy Nevels; two brothers, Jerry Netherland and George (Tittle) Johns; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vivian was preceded in death by her father, John Lee Netherland of Winnsboro, La.
Pallbearers will be Michael Cline, Jeff Johns, Coby Nevels, Dylan Netherland, Farrion Spivey, Jeremy Owens. Honorary Pallbearers will be Candy Nevels, Dusty Shaffer, Nick Cedatol, and Jason Cedatol.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, Louisiana, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. The graveside service and burial will follow at Azalea Rest Cemetery in Zachary, La.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Hospital in her memory.
