Virginia "Ginny" Dunn

Virginia "Ginny" Overton Dunn, 57 years old, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 25, 2021, peacefully at her home in Pride, Louisiana. She entered this world on September 25, 1963, born to June Greaud and Lew Overton, in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a member of Journey Church. She enjoyed spending time and loving on her grandchildren.

Ginny is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Rodney Dunn; daughter, Christy Watkins Thibeau (Jason); sons, Brandon Dunn (Janae), Chad Dunn (Cari), and Ryan Dunn; grandchildren, Cullen, Henry, Cooper, Kincade, Krewe, and Navy Joy; brothers, Johnny Overton and Chris Overton; sisters, Connie Kelly and Rita Wohlgemuth; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ginny is preceded in death by her father, Lew Overton; mother, June Gros; and sister, Sandy Spencer.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Thibeau, Cavin Pritchard, Ross Pritchard, Randy Stone, Kevin Watkins, Brandon Dunn, and Chad Dunn.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Monday, March 01, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Reverend Jay Coleman. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
