Wait on the LORD be of good courage, and HE shall strengthen thine heart wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalms 27:14 Virginia White Heine, 86, went home to her Savior Jesus Christ, on November 16, 2013. She will be missed by all who knew her. Born May 2, 1927, in Hattiesburg, MS, Virginia was the youngest of two children. She moved to Baton Rouge in the 1930s and graduated from Baton Rouge High School. On Sept. 1, 1945 she married the love of her life, Charles Bubba Aubert Heine, who preceded her in death in 2009. They were married for 64 years. Virginia is survived by four loving daughters, Sheila Collins of Jonesboro, AR, and Sherry Plaisance, Charlene Dunham and Darlene Taylor, all of Baton Rouge 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bubba Aubert Heine brother, John A. Jack White, Jr. mother, Nancy Mae McClendon and father, John A. White, Sr. Pallbearers will be Virginias grandsons, Adam and Ryan Lavigne, Ted Dunham IV, and Lloyd, Paul, Michael and David Plaisance. Virginia will be remembered by most as a dedicated Christian woman, having enjoyed teaching Sunday school for many years at Plains Port Hudson Baptist Church, and later as an active member of Jefferson Baptist Church in Baton Rouge. She will also be remembered by her children, family members, and others who knew her, for her selfless acts of kindness and love for all. Visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until religious services in the chapel at 11:00 a.m., conducted by Dr. Tommy French and Rev. John Thomas. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
