Vergie P. Moree, born July 8, 1915 in Jayess, Ms. passed away Wednesday, June 15th 2011 at the Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She was 95. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home 59 on Friday June 17th, 2011 and again at Jones Family
Funeral Service in McComb, Ms. from 9:00 am until religious services on Saturday June 18th, 2011 at 11:00 am with interment to follow in Hollywood Cemetery in McComb. She was a former resident of McComb and a resident of Baton Rouge. She was a faithful Christian woman with a joyful spirit and a giving heart, who love to laugh. She was known and loved by many. She is survived by numerous GreatNieces and GreatNephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Smith, 2 Brothers, Alton and Shelby Powell. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all the nurses and aids at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice.
