A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother, and a resident of Baker, Verlin passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 15, 2014. She was 81 and a native of Plaquemine.
Visiting at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Road, Baton Rouge, on Tuesday, June 17 from 10:00am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00pm, celebrated by Rev. Frank Bass. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
Verlin is survived by her husband of 63 years, Arthur M. Sonny Kleinpeter three daughters, Nancy Kleinpeter, Karen Linton, and Heidi Bourque and husband Ron three sons, James Kleinpeter and wife Lois, Charles Arthur Kleinpeter and girlfriend Glenda, and Jack Kleinpeter and wife Karen brother, Joe Morales seven grandchildren, James Alan Kleinpeter, Misty Chapaneri, Renee LeBlanc, Daryl Kleinpeter, Brandon Kleinpeter, Jacob Linton, and Kathryn Kleinpeter and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Kleinpeter sister, Vivian Morales Brocato four brothers, Calvin, Leslie, Roland, and Claude Morales grandson, Kevin Michael Kleinpeter and her parents, Vital and Noelie Morales.
Pallbearers are Brandon, Daryl, and Alan Kleinpeter, Ron Bourque, Kevin Chapaneri, Jacob Linton, and Josh LeBlanc.
Verlin was a charter member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, and a member of The Altar Guild and Catholic Daughters. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, playing Scrabble, cooking and sewing. She will be dearly missed.
