Tony J. Nolan, Sr.

Tony Joe Nolan, Sr., 79 years old, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great- Grandfather and friend to many was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 6, 2024. He entered this world on December 13, 1944, born to Marteze and Cleveland Nolan, in Pensacola, Florida. Tony served 44 years with the IBEW Local 995 as a Union Electrician. He loved God and his family with an indescribable passion. He enjoyed woodworking and was known for building everything from decorative jewelry boxes to building shops for his family. He was very good with his hands and could do just about anything you would imagine. Along with his passion for working with his hands he also enjoyed fishing and taking in all of God's creation.

Tony is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Brenda Keaton Nolan; sons, Tony Joe Nolan, Jr. (Tamme), Jeffrey Todd Nolan (Cheryl); daughter, Laura Nolan Whisnant (Donnie); 5 grandchildren, Abigail Minczeski (Alex), Meghan Parker (Shawn), Lauren Gaskin (Loren), Camille Nordstrom (Mitch), and Brock Nolan; 6 great-grandchildren, Anderson Minczeski, Brynlee Nolan, Bradley Parker, Emily Parker, Kenleigh Parker, Piper Gaskin; brother, Aubrey Van Nolan (Margaret); sister, Jimmie Woodward; sister-in-law, Roger Lea Nolan; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Tony is preceded in death by his father, Cleveland Dennis Nolan; mother, Marteze Etheridge Nolan; brother, Ted Nolan; brother-in-law, John Paul Woodward.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Brother Bill Pruitt. The interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, La.
