A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Franklin County, MS, he passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 84, a US Army veteran, and a retired pipefitter with Local 198. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Tuesday, April 29 from 59pm. Visiting resumes at New Beginnings Church of God, 1124 Georgia Street, Baker, on Wednesday, April 30, from 9am until religious services at 11am, conducted by Rev. Dale Richter, Rev. James Tullier, and Bro. Ray Abbott. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by a daughter and soninlaw, Linder and Dale Richter of Central brother, Robert Tarver of Central four grandchildren, Bradley Michael Pine and wife, Michelle E. Pine of Baton Rouge, Courtney Amber Pine of Central, Shelley Richter Balderez and husband, Robert of Houston, and Shanna Danielle Richter of Baton Rouge four greatgrandchildren, Jayden Lane LeGrange of Central, and Lily Monroe Pine, Noah Bradley Pine, and Londyn Danielle Pope, all of Baton Rouge and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by the love of his life, Dorothy Dot Tarver a son, Terrell Jason Tarver sister, Nita Nash and his parents, Linder Arnold Tarver and William Leroy Tarver. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Beginnings church of God, where T.J. was a member.
