Syble Stanley Boyd
A resident of Baker, Syble passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice. She was 76, and a native of Carbondale, Illinois.
Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Wednesday, February 25, from 4-8pm, and on Thursday, February 26, from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Ted Roeling. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
Syble is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jimmy "T.J." Boyd; two daughters, Rhonda Dabadie and husband David, and Roxane Boyd and fiancée Matt Shelton; mother, Mabel Stanley; granddaughter, Kara Dabadie; grandson, Kurt Dabadie; brother, Roger Stanley and wife Bobbie; and a sister, Ellen Miller and husband Matt Sine.
She was preceded in death by her father, Chester W. Stanley; brother, Albert Stanley; sister, Joyce Stanley Hendry; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Pallbearers will be David Dabadie, Matt Shelton, Kurt Dabadie, Hunter Caston, Jeff Caston, and Danny Hammons.
Syble loved bowling, and was a member of Elite Seniors Bowling League. She lived to take care of her family and friends. Being an animal lover, she loved and took care of ALL God's creatures. She was a kind and caring woman, a great cook, and enjoyed writing poetry. She will be deeply missed.
