She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. Proverbs 31:1012. A resident of Denham Springs, she passed away at 7:30am on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Harvest Manor Nursing Home. She was 86, and a native of Buckatunna, MS. She retired as a medical records clerk first from Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, then from Lane Memorial Hospital. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 59pm, and on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 10am, conducted by Revs. Dennis Terry, George Threeton, and Kenneth Jordan. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by her husband of 68 years, James J. Barrett daughter and soninlaw, Toni and Bob Cutrer son and daughterinlaw, Jeff and Beth Barrett brother, Walter B. Jordan three grandchildren, Kimberly Cutrer, Dean Cutrer and wife Rochelle, and Brandon Barrett and four great grandchildren, Taylor and Kendall Cutrer, and Aubrey and Brandon Le Barrett. Preceded in death by her parents, Ben L. and Edna Runnels Jordan and four siblings.
