Susan Roush

Susan Lorraine Roush, 60 years old, beloved Sister and Daughter and Aunt, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 3, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on June 2, 1962, born to Mary and Walter Roush, in Norfolk, Virginia.

Susan is survived by her loving brothers, Robert Glen Roush and John Henry Roush; and her nephew, Peyton Glen Roush.

Susan is preceded in death by her father, Walter Arnold Roush; mother, Mary McCoy Roush and partner of 18 years, Susie Dugas.

Susan worked in the retail and resort industries as a horticulturist. She loved to travel and was a wonderful cook who enjoyed feeding her family and friends. Susan loved and took care of many animals in her lifetime

Susan will be sorely missed by her very close friends Annette Taylor and Pam Smith and all of her fur babies.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA 70714, on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
