Shirley Davis

Shirley Ann Normand Davis, 82 years old, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend was called to be with our Lord and Savior December 2, 2021. She was born to Gastry and Percy Normand in Alexandria, LA. Ms. Davis is a retired Master Sergeant of 20 years from Louisiana State Penitentiary (Angola). She loved her family more than anything. Ms. Davis enjoyed gardening, cooking, and going to garage sales on the weekends. You could also find her around town picking pecans or blueberries.

Ms. Davis is survived by her kids, Rick Davis, Christopher Lowe; and grandson, Ryan Lowe.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Percy and Gastry Normand; brother, Gaston Normand; and son, Vincent Lowe.

Serving as pallbearers: Alan Prestridge, Jeremy Avants, Troy Abshire, Tracy Normand, Dustin Abshire, and Ryan Lowe
Honorary pallbearers: Rick Davis and Chris Lowe.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Ray Abbott. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
