Shawn Kelleher

If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, Id walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again. A resident of Baker and a native of Baton Rouge, he passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. He was 44, a building contractor and landscaper, and a childrens baseball coach. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 2pm, conducted by Rev. George Scruggs. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by mother, Dorothy Kelleher Bujol maternal grandmother, Vergie Hamilton two sons, Logan Michael and Landon Nicholas Kelleher three sisters, Debbie and husband, John Ballard, Tammy and husband, Hyman Luter, and Melissa Kelleher and companion Lonnie Cotton nieces and nephews, Tiffany and Bill Edwards, Whitney and Mark Richards, Morgan and Brian Bellington, Devin and Tyler Kennedy, and Jason and Jeremy Ballard great nieces and nephews, Christopher and Colt Richards, Calob and Ashlyn Edwards, Bruce Buhler and Aubrey Aaron Ballard aunts and uncles, Ann and Jim Babin, Eunice and Danny Pasani, and Tommy and Kahne Hamilton and numerous cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Captain Ret. Lionel Kelleher stepfather, Linden Bujol maternal grandfather, Aubrey Hamilton and paternal grandparents, Dennis and Camille Kelleher. Serving as pallbearers will be Mikie Vickers, Robbie Jacobs, Mason Jordan, Jodi Wheeler, Devin Kennedy, Ray Lawless, Ryan Lowe, and Joey Schallage. Honorary pallbearers are Hyman Luter, Cloyce Wheeler, Lester Doughty, and Robert Norman. Shawn enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gokart racing.
