Sharon Borders

Sharon Marie Raiford Borders, 67 years old, amazingly wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend to many was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 25, 2019. She entered this world on May 25, 1952, born to Shirley and Bobby Raiford, in Baton Rouge, LA.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Tina M. Borders and her husband, Bryan; Stephen W. Borders and his wife, Jennifer and Keith A. Borders and his wife, Ashley; grandchildren, Marlena, Taylor, Stephanie, Frances, and Julian Broussard, Zayne Borders, Victoria and Brayden Blount, and Ashton McKinney; sisters, Judy Bascome and Peggy Brady; brother, Bruce Raiford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Frank M. Borders; father, Bobby Raiford; and mother, Shirley Raiford.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, Louisiana, on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, from 9:30 AM until the funeral service at 11:30 AM, officiated by Deacon Shelley Joseph. The graveside service and burial will follow at Port Hudson National Cemetery, in Zachary, Louisiana.
