Shane Bellard

Shane Christopher Bellard, 42 years old, beloved father, son and friend was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 3, 2018. Shane entered this world on May 25, 1975, in Zachary, LA, born to Dennis and Sylvia Bellard. Shane worked for Union Tank Car Company. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Shane is survived by his loving, Carmen Cole; their two beautiful children, Carter and Madison Bellard; step-children, Timmy Cole and Brittni Phillipe and his parents, who loved him dearly, Dennis and Sylvia Bellard.

Shane is preceded in death by, paternal grandparents, Isaac and Amy Bellard; and maternal grandparents, Jean and Leona Duplechain.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home, on Friday, April 6, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist, 4826 Main Street, Zachary, LA, at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Father M. Jeffery Bayhi. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
