He is survived by his three children, Stan Reeves, Sr., and wife Becky of Zachary, Sandra Reeves of Birmingham, AL, Johnny Reeves, and wife Patricia, of Clinton. SV was a United States Navy Veteran, having served during WWII. He also served as a probation officer for several years while living in Baker. He loved God and his family. He was a wonderful example of honoring his father and his mother in order to live a long life blessed by the Lord. He never met a stranger. SV loved football, and was a faithful LSU football fan for over 70 years. He loved to travel and took his family on many vacations throughout the United States, as well as camping, fishing, and hunting trips.
