Ryan Mclin

2 Timothy, 4:7 - "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."

Ryan Benjamin McLin, 41 years old, beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 5, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on July 24, 1981, born to Amelia Townsend McLin and Gaylan McLin, in Baton Rouge, LA. He was a member of Live Oak Church. Ryan loved watching baseball and football, especially LSU. He enjoyed playing golf as much as he could, along with hunting and fishing. He loved his family; his wife and daughters were the light of his life.

Ryan is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Virginia "Jenny" Jordan McLin; two daughters, Adelaide "Addie" Elizabeth McLin and Sara Frances McLin; parents, Gaylan and Amy McLin; sisters, Elizabeth McLin and partner Robbie Cleere, and Erin Sindelar and husband Rob Sindelar; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Vic and Eileen Jordan; sister-in-law, Emily Ressman and husband Eric Ressman, brother-in-law, Victor Jordan and wife Amanda Jordan, along with nieces and nephews, Caitlin, Cole, Amelia, Averi, Harper, Camille, Graceleigh, Quin, and Casper.

Ryan is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Bob Townsend and Meda Townsend; and his paternal grandparents, Lester A. Mclin, Sr. and Maxie McLin.

Serving as pallbearers will be his cousin, Charles Townsend and buddies, Bryan Ballard, Ben Ory, Wade Foster, Dustin Kidder, and Brian Richard.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Live Oak Church, 34890 LA Hwy 16, Denham Springs, LA, on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, in Denham Springs, Louisiana.
