Ruth Alline Lillis Phillipsbr brA native of Baton Rouge, she passed away at 6am Sat. Dec. 26, 2009 at her home in Ethel at the age of 50. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Rd., Baker, on Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 from 5-9pm, and Tues. Dec. 29 from noon until religious services in the chapel at 2pm, conducted by Deacon Willie Berthelot. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by husband, Mark Phillips Sr.; father-in-law, Adam Phillips; a daughter, Jennifer Phillips Stiles and husband Jimmy Tarver; two sons, Mark Phillips Jr and wife Meghan, and Adam Joey Phillips and wife Rachel; a sister, Kimberly Lipoma; three brothers, T.J. Lillis wife Vicky, Tommy Lillis, and Jason Thibeau wife Christy; granddaughter, Alissa Phillips; four grandsons, Bailey Phillips Stiles, Blayden Phillips, Bransen Phillips, Cade Phillips; step grandson, A.J. Tarver; and a niece, Chelsea Lipoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty T.J. Lillis; and her mother-in-law, Rita Phillips. Pallbearers will be Mark Phillips Jr, Joey Phillips, T.J. Lillis, Tommy Lillis, Jason Thibeau, and Jimmy Tarver.
