Ruby Ellard

A resident of Denham Springs and native of Merryville La., she passed away Monday April 30, 2012 At Ochsner Medical Center at the age of 86. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home 5:008:00 pm Thursday and Friday from 1:00 until religious services at 3:00 pm in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Troy Herrington. Interment to follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. She is survived by two sons, James Ellard Jr. and wife Ginger, Dennis Ellard and wife Larisa. Two sisters, Elizabeth Crumholt and Maurine Whittington, and a brother Jimmy Herrington. She is also survived by grandchildren, Melanie and Karolina Ellard and great grandchildren Phillip and Bryan Boudreaux and Joshua Ellard. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Ellard Sr., son Richard Ellard, granddaughter, April Boudreaux, brother, Roland Herrington, sisters Lois and Maxine McKenzie and Vivian Echols.
