Rosalie Piper

Rosalie Gagliano Piper, 90 years old, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Friend to many was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 24, 2024. She entered this world on June 1, 1934, born to Agnes and Lawrence Gagliano, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church for 50 years.

Rosalie is survived by her 2 sons, John Piper, Jr. and wife Pat, Ronnie Piper and wife Michelle; eleven grandchildren, John Piper III, Justin Piper, Chris Piper, Edward Narro, Bridget Narro, Landon Piper, Lawson Piper, Laynie Piper, Stephen Piper, Brett Piper, Christina Piper; ten great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Barcelona and Gloria Vidrine; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Rosalie is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Grady "Buddy" Piper, Sr.; parents, Agnes and Lawrence Gagliano; daughters, Deborah Piper and Brenda Piper; son, Lonnie Piper; and granddaughter, Debbie Narrow.

Pallbearers will be John Piper III, Justin Piper, Chris Piper, Edward Narro and Landon Piper, and Lawson Piper.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Deacon Shelley Joseph. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
