Roger Nolan

Roger Lea Parden Nolan, age 85, a resident of Dover, Arkansas and native of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024, at her home in the city of Dover.

Roger is survived by her two daughters, Terri Lynn Moody (Rory) and Leah Renea Nolan; her son, Robert Wade Nolan (Cheryl); grandchildren, Michael Erin and John Reyes, Michael Nolan, Amanda Nolan, Alice Nolan, Rory Moody Jr., Joshua Moody, Zachariah Moody, Amy Bakerowski, Maggie Richardson, and Mollie Richardson; great-grandchildren, Lyle Nolan, Michael Nolan Jr., Elijah Nolan, Natalie Nolan, Dillon Moody, Braydon Moody, Payton Moody, and Eli Bakersowski; brother, Rodney Parden; sister, Paula Courville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by her parents, Roger Edward Parden and Montelea Larsen Parden; and husband, Ted Tex Nolan; and brother, Wayne Parden.

She was a sweet and beautiful soul, person, mother, wife, sister, friend and devout Christian who loved the lord with all her heart and might. She was loved by anyone who knew her, and left a deep impression. She was the sweetest, kindest person to anyone and everyone, regardless of who they were, or what they had done. She always saw the best in others, even when the best was not being shown. This world will not be the same without her here, but we know that she is with her Lord and Savior, dancing at the feet of her king, as we carry her memory with us down here.

Religious services will be held privately on a later date. Roger will be interred at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with her husband, Ted Nolan.
