Rochelle Shanley

A native of Baker and a resident of Zachary, she passed away at her home on Saturday, March 31, 2012. She was 40, and an employee of the Brownsfield McDonalds for 18 years. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 8am until religious services in the chapel at 11:00am. Entombment to follow in Hillcrest Mausoleum. Survived by sister and brotherinlaw, Michelle and Jody Crosby of Zachary two brothers and sistersinlaw, Richard Flip and Kim Smith Shanley of Zachary, and Ryan and Ginger St. Pierre Shanley of Baton Rouge eight nieces and nephews, Brian Shanley, Kevin Shanley, Brooke Shanley, Richie Crosby, Randy Crosby, Roddy Crosby, Meredith Shanley, and Landon Shanley. Preceded in death by her parents, Phyllis and Richard Shanley maternal grandparents, Francis and Victor Latona and paternal grandparents, James and Evelyn Shanley. Pallbearers are Brian and Kevin Shanley, Richie and Randy Crosby, Alan DiBenedetto, and Michael LeBlanc. Honorary pallbearers are Roddy Crosby and Landon Shanley. Rochelle was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Zachary. She loved the band Stormy, going out to eat, dancing, and singing in her microphone. Ro was full of life, and brought much joy to all to all she met. She will be greatly missed.
