Robin Mitchell

A resident of Slaughter and a native of Bogalusa, she passed away at 1:50pm on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at her home following a lengthy battle with breast cancer. She was 48. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 59pm, and on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am. Entombment to follow in Hillcrest Mausoleum, Baker. Survived by her husband, Lenn P. Scallan mother and stepfather, Janet and Harvey Volentine father and stepmother, Butch and Kathy Singletary a daughter and soninlaw, Krissie and Anthony Fleming a son and daughterinlaw, Kyle and Christine Mitchell three brothers and two sistersinlaw, Richard and Dee Dee Singletary, Darryl and Susan Singletary, and Shawn Singletary and six grandchildren, Shelby and Karli Fleming, and Kyleigh, Landon, Logan, and Kayden Mitchell. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, R.V. and Ada Sloan and paternal grandparents, Frank and Eloise Singletary. Pallbearers will be Lenn Scallan, Glenn Scallan, Anthony Fleming, Scotty Fleming, Gene Westmoreland, and John Perrot.
