Robert "Bobby" Wells, Sr.

Robert "Bobby" Eugene Wells Sr., 75 years old, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 26, 2021. He entered this world on August 17, 1945, born to Doris Bass Wells and Raiford Wells, in McComb, MS. He was a member of Foster Road Baptist Church. He retired from Georgia Pacific after 32 years. He was a lifelong Ole Miss fan, enjoyed cooking for everyone, and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Mary Allen Wells; daughters, Traci Wells Patin, Katie Wells (Jared Browning); son, Robby Wells (Renee'); grandchildren, Peyton McCulloch, Garrett Wells, Hannah Wells Stubbs, Robby Wells, III., Beau Browning, and Jax Browning; great-grandson, Hudson Stubbs; brother, Harold Wells (Carolyn); sister, Toni Wells Ford (Chris); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Raiford Wells; mother, Doris Bass Wells; sister, Carol Wells Boyd; nephews, Greg Boyd, Larry Boyd, and Gregory "Goo" Allen.

Serving as pallbearers will be Peyton McCulloch, Garrett Wells, Robby Wells, III., Beau Browning, Clark Wells, and Shannon Ford.

Honorary pallbearers will be Scooter Boyd and Jax Browning.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home, on Friday, July 30, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Reverend Danny Allen. The graveside service and burial will follow at Plains Presbyterian Memorial Gardens, in Zachary, LA.
