Robert Temple

On Sunday, May 17, 2015, Robert "Larry" Temple, left this world to spend eternity with his late wife, Brenda Smith Temple, surrounded by his loving family at The Carpenter House at the age of 65. A resident of Baker, LA and native of Laurel, MS. He was a dedicated employee of Brand Services at Dow Chemical Plant. He enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family and friends.

Larry is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Robert Wayne and Michelle Temple, and Rusty Allen and Robyn Temple; one granddaughter, Addison Temple; one brother, Tommy Temple; and four sisters, Cora Peterson, Mary Roberts, Elaine Valadez, and Darlene "Shorty" King; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Paul Temple, Sr. and Sarah Robinson Temple; 2 brothers, Bobby Temple and William Paul Temple, Jr.; and sister, Christine Blue.

Visitation hours will be observed on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, from 5pm to 9pm and will resume on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, from 10am until Services at 11am at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Rd, Baker, LA.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker, LA.

Special thanks to the staff at Lane Memorial Hospital ICU and St. Joseph's Hospice at the Carpenter House.

He will be greatly missed by all family and friends.
