Robert Haley

A native and resident of Baton Rouge, he passed away at 4:12am on Friday, August 05, 2011 at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary. He was 78, and a retired maintenance supervisor for LSU Facility Services. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Sunday, August 7, 2011 from 48pm, and on Monday, August 8, 2011 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev Josh Roberie. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by wife of 58 years, Betty Brown Haley of Baton Rouge daughter, Sheila Saniford of Zachary two sisters, Bettye Claire Palmer and husband Norman of Springfield, and Helen Barnes Jenkins of Baton Rouge a brother, Edward T. Haley and wife Ginny of Baton Rouge and two grandchildren, Corey Matthew Saniford and Amy Michele Saniford. Preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Preston Haley Jr, David Leuix Haley, and Richard Reyes Haley two sisters, Catherine Lillian Boudreaux, and Ruth Estelle Brown and his parents, Helen Henderson Haley and Charles Preston Haley Sr. Pallbearers will be Corey Saniford, Ricky Haley, Charles Haley, Jerry Silvio, David Silvio, and David Haley.
