Weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalms 30:5. A retired Southern Baptist Preacher, and a devoted husband and father, he went Home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 06, 2011 at 12:16am at Lane Regional Medical Center. He was 85, a native and former longtime resident of Mobile, AL, and a resident of Baker. He was an avid golfer, and a US Navy Veteran of WWII. Graveside services at Woodlawn Cemetery, Columbia, MS on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 2pm, conducted by Rev. Bill Whitfield. Survived by his loving wife, Betty Jean Inabnit Hale of Baker daughter, Mary Hale of Baker son, John Hale and wife Edie of Lucedale, MS sister, Ann McKillop two brothers, Mitchell and Curtis Hale seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Jim and Tim Hale, and numerous siblings.
