A resident of Slaughter, Raymond passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at The Butterfly Wing of Hospice of Baton Rouge. He was 68, a native of Centreville, MS and a resident Gloster, Miss. He was U.S. Army veteran, having served three tours in the Vietnam War. He worked at the Exxon Plant in Baton Rouge for Pala Interstate, LLC as a heavy equipment operator for over 20 years until his retirement.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Tuesday, April 28, from 5-9pm, and on Wednesday, April 29, from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Charlie Watts and Rev. Reggie Foreman. Interment with military honors will follow at Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 42 years, Hope Rainwater Lundberg; two daughters, Candace Ree Norton and Jennie Irene Haley and husband Larry W. Haley, Jr.; three grandchildren, Tanner Michael Lundberg, Tyler Eugene Norton and Jenna Nicole Haley; a brother, Floyd Lundberg; and three sisters, Betty Prokop, Lynn Donachricha, and Marie Gray.

He was preceded by his parents, Wallace C. Lundberg and Avis Floyd Lundberg; a brother, James Wallace Lundberg; and four sisters, Clara Mae Bickham, Margaret Forman, Brenda Bordelon, and Cheryl Ramirez.

The family would like to thank Dr. Judd Patten and staff of Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Baton Rouge; Dr. Christopher McClaness and staff of the Pennington Cancer Center of Baton Rouge; the staff of the Cancer Center of Greater Baton Rouge; and the staff of Hospice of Baton Rouge.

Raymond loved hunting, working in his yard, knife and gun collecting, and his favorite loves, his wife Hope, and The Lord.
