LACKEY, Raychael Annette Smith

A native and resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away at 5:17pm on Tues. February 9, 2010 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the age of 27. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Rd., Baker, on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 from 10am until religious services in the chapel at 2pm, conducted by Rev. Kevin Hand. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her husband, Matthew Lackey of Baton Rouge a daughter, Zoie Bacon of Baton Rouge mother and stepfather, Mary Robin Partin of Ventress father and stepmother, Dicky Donna Smith of Baker paternal grandparents, Retha Kermit Smith of Baker maternal grandmother stepgrandfather, Sarah James Lacombe of Central maternal grandfather, Elgene Branum Sr. of Ventress fatherinlaw and stepmotherinlaw, Rory Lisa Lackey of Maurepas step grandparents, Don Dixie Porter of Lawrenceville, Illinois a sister, Madelyn Smith of Baton Rouge stepbrother and stepsister, Travis Tammy Partin and many extended family members and friends, including Jason Kelly Lackey, Taya, Stephanie Davin Miller, Jen Chad Ridgell Ketih Doris Hutson Mishawn Gary Ourso James Timmons, Amanda Hobdy and Jessica Garcia. Preceded in death by maternal stepgrandmother, Katrina Branum and maternal great grandmother, Mary Smith. Pallbearers will be Jamie Timmons, Chad Ridgell, Keith Hutson, Beau Hopkins, Matthew Lackey, and Gary Ourso. Honorary pallbearers are Travis Partin and Chris Pinion. Raychael was a member of Cajun Country K9 Club, and an avid horse rider.
