Randy Carey

Randy Dale Carey, 63 years old, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 28, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on November 26, 1957, born to Frankie Inez and Jesse Carey, in Oklahoma City, OK. Randy enjoyed fishing, reading and cooking for the guys at the hunting camp.

Randy is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Wendy Mae Carey; daughter, Amanda Inez Carey Cranfield and husband, Shaun; granddaughter, Reagan Elizabeth Cranfield; nieces, Marissa Hammett and Andrea Menendez; and nephews, Dustin Carey and Russ Carey.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Meriott Carey; mother, Frankie Inez Williams Carey; brothers, Edgar Dennis Carey, Larry Don Carey, Leslie Terry Carey, and Timothy Stephen Carey; and sister, Janet Elaine Carey.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA 70714, on Saturday, January 9, 2021, from 9:00 AM until the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Brad Carey. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.

In Randy’s memory the family requests that everyone wear their favorite fishing shirt and bring their favorite camping recipe, especially the recipe that reminds you most of Randy. Recipes will be collected at the visitation and cherished by the family.
