Ralph Glendon Bryant, 88 years old, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 28, 2017. He entered this world on September 22, 1928 in Farmington, Maine, born to Harland and Marie Bryant.
Ralph was a faithful member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He retired from the United States Airforce after 20 years of service. Ralph later retired from the Asbestos Workers Local 53.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Audrey Rita Normand Bryant; 1 son, Barry Bryant; 5 daughters, Karen Bryant Wall and husband Rudy, Elaine Bryant, Cindy Bryant Holmes, Theresa Bryant Aguillard and fiancé James T. Richard, and Diane Bryant Lyons and husband Scott; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Norma Smith and husband Tom; and his brother, Harland Bryant and wife Evelyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, Harland and Marie Bisbee Bryant; 2 brothers, Darryl Bryant and Malcom Bryant.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, from 10:00 a.m. until the rosary service at 11:30 a.m. The memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. officiated by Deacon Shelley Joseph.
The graveside service with military honors will follow at the Louisiana National Cemetery, 303 W. Mt Pleasant Zachary Road, Zachary.
