Percy Joseph "P.J." Rome, III

Percy Joseph "P.J." Rome, III, a native of Greenwell Springs, LA, passed away in Baton Rouge on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the age of 35.

P.J. was born on September 11, 1980 to Percy Rome, Jr. and Angel Aucoin. He graduated from Zachary High School in 1998, and was last working at M.M.R. Construction. He loved a great party and a great barbecue as he spent time with his family and loved ones.

P.J. is survived by his daughter, Ashlynn Lillie Rome; fiancée, Stacy McCullough; mother, Angel (Ray) Aucoin; father, Percy (Mary) Rome, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Venia House; sister, Harley Rome; brother, Ryan Rome; four aunts, Debra Watts, Teri (T.H.) Hewitt, Cathy Rome, and Carla (Keith) Boykin; and many cousins and very close friends that were like family.

P.J. was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Percy Sr. and Pearl Rome; maternal grandfather, Robert House; and aunt, Betty Nettles.

P.J. had a free spirit, which we will celebrate at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Tuesday, October 20. Visiting will be from 10am-12:00pm, and the Celebration of P.J.'s Life will begin at noon.
