A retired Avon representative for many years, she went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at her home in Clinton surrounded by her loving family. She was 81 and a native of Louisville, Miss. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home on Monday, March 14, from 69pm, and on Tuesday from 9am until religious service in the chapel at 11am, conducted by the Rev. Rusty Bowser. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by two sons, Philip L. Green and wife Deborah, and Gary R. Green and wife Judy a sister, Mary Bettye Mills a brother, William Henry Barnhill four grandchildren, Kellye Jeansonne and husband Stephen, Dana Criminger and husband Colin, Kandice Green and fianc Jonathan Jarreau, and Philip Green Jr. and two greatgranddaughters, Kamryn Jeansonne and Karsyn Jeansonne. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Percy Green parents, James Elmer Barnhill and Mary Alice Eaves Barnhill sister, Rebecca Lombardo and two brothers, Cyrus Lamar Barnhill and Hubert Elmer Barnhill. She was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church, Baker Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star and past Matron of Star of Baker Chapter 234. The Green family would like to thank Olive Branch Baptist Church and the many friends for their loving kindness during this difficult time.
