A resident of Livingston, a PlannerEstimator for P2S Piping Company for the past 15 years, and a former pipefitter for Local 198 for 18 years, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 4:12pm at his home. He was 56, and native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 48pm, and on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Basil Wicker. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Donna Day Elliott two daughters, Jennifer Elliott Adams and husband, Richard, and Julie Elliott two sons, Joshua Dean Elliott and Jacob Paul Elliott three sisters, Paulette Dick, Frances Lafitte, and Barbara Jane Grafton four grandchildren, Taylor Olivier, Tyler Elliott, Nicholas Adams, and Katerina Adams an expected grandson due in September, Braxtyn Allen Paul Hoag and two dogs, Charles and Radio. Preceded in death by his father, Herbert Wilton Elliott Sr his mother, Aleene Wiggins Elliott a brother, Herbert W. Manny Elliott Jr. and his beloved motherinlaw, Margaret Day. Paul was a devoted family man. He loved his job, math, working on cars and building things. The family would like to thank his friends at P2S for all of their support. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
