Paul "Tony" Anthony Allen, 61 years old, beloved Father and Husband, passed away suddenly within a few days of becoming aware he was sick with several very serious illnesses, at 9:42 AM on March 14, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on October 13, 1957, born to Shirley and Theodore Allen, in Gallup, NM. Paul honorably served in the United States Navy on board the U.S.S. DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER C.V.N. 69 as a Lithographer from 1977 to 1981.

Tony and Karen were married on August 11, 1979 for 38 years before his passing. All his life, no matter what their record, he was a die-hard LSU Tigers fan. He was employed, for 2 years until 1983, by Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff's office once honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1981. He attended L.S.U. Police Academy Training during his time with them. He became employed by East Baton Rouge Sheriff's office as a Crime Scene Investigator with the Elite Crime Scene Investigating Unit. He was employed at the Baton Rouge Zoo, as a Zoo keeper and elephant trainer, while attending ITT Technical Institute. Acquired a degree from ITT Tech for instrumentation. He eventually moved his family to Virginia, and became involved with the U.S Naval Sea Cadet Corps, where he worked his way from Ensign to Lieutenant. He was employed with several fitness gyms around the DC area as a field service technician. For the last 18 months he was semi retired, enjoying the last few months of his life with is 5 beautiful grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Karen Boudreaux Allen; daughter, Vikki Rose; Son: Preston Allen and daughter-in-law Kimberly Allen; 5 grandchildren, Scarlett "PawPaw's-Chick" Simmons, Demitry "Bugga" Simmons, Beauregard "Beaux-De-Fat" Simmons, Maycie "May Rae" Rae Allen and Parker "T-Boo" Quinn Allen; brother, Greg "Rip" Allen; sisters, Sandra "Dude" Stroughter, Theodora "Minnie" Mock and husband Allen and Mary Frances "LS" Wells and husband Bobby; and more nieces and nephews than he could ever count!

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Shirley Allen; brother, Barry "Bud" Allen and Wife Hoda; and nephew, Gregory Michael "Goo" Allen.

Pallbearers will be Preston Allen, Nathan Lemoine, Sr., Nathan "Nate" Lemoine, Jr., Chris Jackson, Victor Mock and Robby Wells, Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Tony's 3 grandsons: Demitry "Bugga" Simmons, Beauregard "Beaux De-Fat" Simmons and Parker "T-Boo" Quinn Allen.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, La, on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The visitation will continue along with the Funeral Ceremony at Baker Funeral Home, on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
