Patsy Tucker

Patsy Smith Tucker, resident of Pride, Louisiana, 84 years old, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 2, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on May 14, 1936, born to Elva and Wynians Smith, in Pride, LA. She was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church. Through her and Cliffords flower shop she made many friends and acquaintances.  She was a kind and considerate soul who loved her family, her church family, her pokeno family, and LSU sports. She was a shining example of what Christ’s love is for us.

Patsy is survived by her three sons and a daughter-in-law, Jervis Tucker, Kleve and Cindi Tucker, and Dana Tucker; grandchildren, Kalyn Young, Faralyn King and husband, John, Cody Tucker, Amber Segraves and husband, Gordon, Bailey Mac, and Tori Mac; great-grandchildren,  Thomas Young, Camden and Carter Young, Johnny King, Sophie-Grace Segraves; honorary grandchildren, Lindsey Kling, Daniel Kling, Jessica Kling-Mason; honorary great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Kling, Colton Smith, and Carter Smith; brother, Shot Smith and wife, Sheila; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Patsy is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Tucker; father, Wynians Smith; mother, Elva Valentine Smith; and daughter, Jodi Shawn Tucker.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bailey Mac, Cody Tucker, Camden Young, Thomas Young, Carter Young, Johnny King, Colton Smith, and Carter Smith.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, 22834 Liberty Road, Zachary, LA on February11, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the Memorial Service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Reverend Danny Grieg. The graveside service and burial will follow at Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, in Zachary, Louisiana.
