Ora "Faye" Bedell

Ora "Faye" Law Bedell, 93 years old, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 22. 2024. She entered this world on July 24, 1931, born to Mary Etta and Leon Law, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Faye is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Matthew "Matt" Bedell, Sr.; sons, two sons, Matthew "Matt" Bedell, Jr. and Randy Bedell and his wife Lisa; two daughters, Cathy Bedell Lowe and her husband Rev. James and Susan Bedell; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 11 great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Mary Etta Law; and son, Steven P. Bedell; 3 brothers and 6 sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:30 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary, LA. Services will be officiated by Reverend James Lowe of Kings Corner Assembly of God, Sarepta, LA.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place • Memphis, TN 38105.
