Oma Jean Dunaway, 85 years old, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 11, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on May 7, 1936, born to Omer and Ida Dulaney, in Tylertown, MS.
Oma is survived by her loving daughter, Gloria Gustin and husband, Danny of Morganza; son, David Dunaway and wife, Therese Knowles of Baton Rouge; daughter in-law, Cindy Dunaway; 4 grandchildren, Sean Gustin and wife, Kami of Morganza, Danielle Gros and husband, Cody of Fordoche, Laurie Caldwell and husband, Jeff of Livingston, and Lance Dunaway of Houston, TX; 6 great-grandchildren, Hunter, Sedda, Charlee, Kelcie, Bailey and Ryleigh; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Oma is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Dunaway; father, Omer Dulaney; mother, Ida Goins Dulaney; son, Joseph Dunaway; grandchildren, Brandon Gustin and Henry Dunaway; sisters, Jeanette Miller and Cheryle DeGraw.
A private service will be held with family only with the burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
