Norman Thoms, Sr.

Norman Jules Thoms, Sr. 89 years old, resident of Baton Rouge, beloved husband, father, step-father, grandfather, and great-grandfather was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 10. 2022. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.

Norman is survived by his son, Skeeter Thoms; daughters, Melanie Turner (Darrell), Becky Granata (Steve), Tammy Sides (Charlie); step-sons Johnny Thompson (Connie), Gary Thompson; step daughter Peggy Watson (Joey); 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Georgia "Ann" Thoms; his second wife, Cecile "Ceil" Thoms; parents; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at St. Isidore Catholic Church on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 11:00am until the Mass of the Christian Burial at 1:00pm, officiated by Father Frank Bass. The mausoleum service and entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker, LA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
