Montez Lange

Montez Katy Ann Lange, age 87 and a resident of Zachary, left her earthly home to be with her Lord in Heaven on July 9, 2014. She was blessed to have a loving family that cherished her so much. She had a special place in her heart for the city of New Orleans. She was a devout Christian in the Catholic Church, she appreciated music, loved dancing when she was younger, she loved telling stories of the old times. Katy also enjoyed laughing, constantly as she had an amazing spirit. She treasured children and enjoyed their presence in her life.

Katy was loved by her 7 children, Carol Ann Robicheaux deceased, Nelda Ann Strother, Jackson, MS, Recella Catherine Strother, Jackson, MS, Daniel Joseph Lange, Clinton LA, Alton John Lange, Erath, LA, Yvonne Henrietta Parker, Clinton, LA, Michael Joseph Lange, Metairie, LA 1 stepson, Nelson Adam Lange, Jr. deceased 6 sisters and 1 brother. Katy was married to Nelson Adam Lange of Delcambre, LA for 32 years separated by his death. She also had 19 grandchildren and a host of greatgrandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home on Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 noon. Rev. Basil Wicker will officiate the service. The burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
