Milton "David" Crowe 75 years old, resident of Zachary, LA, beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully February 7, 2022. He was born in Bogalusa, LA, on August 24, 1946, to Delmar and Gloria Scott Crowe.
His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. His girls held a special place in his heart, and he doted on them.
Aside from his family, David's greatest devotion was to the military. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a decorated Vietnam Veteran serving two tours. His family and friends knew him as a tough cookie but with a gooey center.
David loved traveling, music and being outdoors either feeding the many squirrels, gardening, or creating his authentic wooden canes. He was also an avid fisherman and collector of Native American art.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Scott Campbell, father, Delmar Crowe, brother, Harry Crowe, former wife, Susan Tumlin-Normand, and best four-legged friend Suki.
David is survived by his daughter, Jennifer "Jay" LeBlanc, and her husband Shannon. His grandchildren Anna Stafford (Austin), Ava Carter, Bryce and Ali LeBlanc, great grandchild Arlyn Grace "Arlee" Stafford and an honorary son, Barney "Willie" Carter. He also leaves behind his siblings, Jackie Dabbs, Charlene Murphy (Kenny), Patty Smith, Chuck Drew and numerous nieces and nephews.
Please join us in celebrating his life at Baker Funeral Home 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Friday February 11, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Military honors will be rendered at 7:00 PM.
