Millicent Robertson

Millicent ''Kitty'' Robertson, 85, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother was called to her eternal resting place on July 19, 2016. Kitty entered this world on November 16, 1930 in Baton Rouge, LA, born to Stanley and Dozie Holden. She was a homemaker and loved cooking. She enjoyed big band music and Ms. Kitty even played the piano.

Ms. Kitty is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley "Gene" and Rhonda Marie Robertson, Kevin and Liz Robertson, and Mark Robertson, and Rhonda Morgan Robertson; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Jewel Clifton Robertson; son, Don Robertson; and parents, Stanley and Dozie Holden.

The family would like to express their love and appreciation to many family members and friends, Greg and Anita Cambre and Cary Johnston; Kelly, Cheryl, David and Autumn as well as other members of the Cardinal Hospice Healthcare Team; private care givers, Tammy, Christi and Rebecca and her granddaughter, Wendy, for the selfless service they all provided to Ms. Kitty and the family.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for an informal gathering at Zoar Baptist Church, Building D, Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until the memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Reverend Glen Miers will officiate the services.
