Mike Cayten

Mike Wedge Cayten, was an SDA for Pepperidge Farms. A resident of French Settlement and native of Picayune, Ms. He passed away Friday, August 13, 2010 at the age of 59. He was the best Husband, Dad, Pop Pop, Brother and Friend you could have and was a devoted Ole Miss fan. He loved football, boat riding and all his friends and family. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, from 59 Monday August 16th and again on Tuesday August 17th from 8:00 until religious services at 10:00 am, conducted by Pastors Danny Allen and Dave Buss. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker. He is survived by his Wife Vickie Cline Cayten, who were one day away from celebrating their 39th wedding anniversary. He is also survived by a Daughter, Michele Cayten Jenkins and Husband Ronny Jenkins, one Sister, Pam Cayten Allen, Granddaughter Taylor Jenkins, Grandson Tanner Jenkins, Motherinlaw Gwen Pulliam Cline and Brotherinlaw Taylor G. Cline as well as numerous Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents James W. and Jean Cayten, Sister Dane Cayten Campbell, Nephew Goo Allen and Fatherinlaw James G. Cline. Pallbearers will be Shane Hebert, Todd Campbell, Ricky Campbell, David Cline, Chris Baxter and Ronny Jenkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Bacile, Taylor Jenkins and Tanner Jenkins. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Baton Rouge.
