Michael "Mike" Riles, Sr.

Michael "Mike" Wayne Riles, Sr., 68 years old, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 9, 2021. He entered this world on June 27, 1952, born to Maxie and Retus Riles, in Baton Rouge, LA. He loved to spend time outdoors hunting and fishing.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Mechelle McDonald Riles; sons, Mike Riles, Jr., Keith Riles, and Chad Riles (Brandi); stepdaughters, Kimberly Hughes and Jessika Russell (Heath); 8 grandchildren, Brett, Jeffery, Emily, Kolby, Chad, Jr., Katelyn, Cameron, and Raelee; 2 great-grandchildren, Kylie and Bryson; brothers, Jerry, Gary, and Earl; sister, Norma Jean; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, Retus Riles; mother, Maxie Riles; brother, Raymond Riles; and previous wife, Dianne Thornton.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Thursday, March 11, 2021, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Ray McDonald. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
