Born Jan. 24, 1929, in the Oak Grove, Mississippi area, he fell asleep on Friday, January 20, 2012, and is awaiting the return of Christ. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, Even so God will bring with him these who sleep in Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 4:14. Born the second of 13 children, he was preceded in death by parents, Cinnie and Bertha four brothers, Cinnie Jr., Eugene, Jimmy and Jerry two wives, Mary Lou and Dorothy daughter, Martha and son, Robbie. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a retired carpenter with 50 years of service. Survived by his daughter, Dottie sons, Paul, Sam and John five sisters, three brothers, 13 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. Visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Thursday, January 26, 2012, from 59pm, and on Friday, January 27, 2012 from noon until religious services at 2pm. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
