Mary Schexsnayder

Mary Giordano Schexsnayder, 91 years old, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Sister, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 2, 2023. She entered this world on September 3, 1931, born to Josephine and Vincent Giordano, in Fordoche, LA. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.

Mary is survived by her son, Mason Schexsnayder, Jr (Maria); daughter, Janice Martin (Raymond); grandchildren, Tammy Parent (Mark), Jason Schexsnayder (Liza), Nicole Bridges (Keith), Raymond Martin and Pamela Martin; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Bena Shows and Rita Kingsley

Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Mason Schexsnayder; father, Vincent Giordano; mother, Josephine Giordano; brothers, Anthony, Joseph, and Peter Giordano.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Road, Baton Rouge, LA, on June 6, 2023, from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, officiated by Father Frank Bass. The graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
