God saw that you were getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you and whispered, Come to Me. Retired from the food service industry, and a native of Port Allen, she passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 7:20am at her daughter and soninlaws home in Central. She was 94 and a longtime former Baker resident. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 59pm. Visiting at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Road, Baton Rouge, on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10am, celebrated by the Rev. Frank Bass. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by one daughter and soninlaw, Barbara Bobbie Steve Manske one son and daughterinlaw, Joseph L. Teri Pickens a sister, Shirley Thibodeaux grandchildren and their spouses, Louis Fletcher, Debbie Earl Sharkey, Billy Cindy Conerly, Jennifer Robert Work, Rhonda Thibodeaux, Joey Jenny Pickens, Johnny Pickens, and Leander Pickens step grandchildren and their spouses, Tina Ellibe, and Robin Nick Voytas and numerous great grandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren. Preceded in death by mother and father, Louisa Benny St. Romain four brothers, and two sisters. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Louis Fletcher and Billy Conerly, and great grandsons, Joshua Hutchinson, and Christopher, Devin Andy Conerly. Special thanks to Dr. Folse, nurse Bea, aid Jackie and the staff of St. Joseph Hospice. Rosalie was a longtime member of St. Isidore Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Hospice.
